When Ramesh lost his brother in police custody, his family had no hope. The system seemed rigged against them. GHRF provided pro bono legal representation, filed PILs, and fought for 3 years. Today, the family has received justice, and the guilty officers face prosecution. This is what sustained advocacy can achieve.

Sudakar was trafficked at age 16 and held in captivity for over 2 years. When GHRF received a tip-off through our helpline, we coordinated with law enforcement for a daring rescue. Today, Sudakar is working and dreams of becoming a self-employed to help other survivors.

Sunita Devi led a team of volunteers into illegal mining operations where children as young as 8 were forced to work 14-hour days. Through persistent pressure and legal action, 53 children were rescued and enrolled in rehabilitation programs. Many are now attending school for the first time.
